Sitting within the Category Team, the Category Manager will be responsible for leading the category management strategy within the chosen account base, highlighting growth opportunities and identifying business targets. You will take responsibility for specific category and NPD projects. As an integral partner to internal sales teams, you will play a pivotal part in strengthening category influence and relationships with the key stakeholders within business unit.
Educated to degree or equivalent level, the successful individual will have demonstrable experience of category or customer management within an FMCG environment. You must be comfortable with listening to and influencing at all levels, whilst possessing excellent presentation and analytical skills. The successful individual will be able to coach and develop people, although previous man-management is not essential.
